Biography
Hamed Naderi is a cybersecurity and AI researcher with over 20 years of experience across information security, financial technology, and digital transformation. He helps financial institutions and technology-driven organizations build resilient, secure, and future-ready technology strategies.
His career has been shaped by leadership roles in critical cybersecurity environments — including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security Operations Center (SOC) management within banking and transactional-service infrastructures. This has given him a practical understanding of how cyber risks and technology challenges emerge in complex financial environments, and how to address them through strategy, governance, and effective execution.
As a PhD candidate in Management of Technology, he bridges academic research with real-world advisory across cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management; fintech security and digital banking transformation; AI adoption and AI-enabled security operations; and emerging technologies, blockchain, and digital innovation.
He has authored peer-reviewed research in fintech, AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, bringing this knowledge into consulting and strategic technology engagements.

My approach always begins with threat modelling and risk quantification before prescribing solutions. Too many organisations buy security products to solve problems they haven't clearly defined, creating complexity without reducing risk.
On the AI side, I apply the same evidence-based rigour: systematic literature reviews, structured evaluation frameworks, and honest acknowledgement of what the research does — and doesn't — support. This makes advisory engagements more defensible and more valuable to boards.
